Settlement & Processing (Payout)
Processing vs Settlement
- Processing: Cashela accepts and routes the payout to the selected payer/provider.
- Settlement: The moment the beneficiary can access funds (credited to account, available for pickup, etc.).
Statuses are communicated via the payout transaction response and webhook callbacks.
Typical timelines (indicative)
Actual times vary by payer, country, currency, compliance checks, and network cutoffs.
- Bank / Wallet payouts: same day or next business day.
- Cash pickup: available after provider processes the transfer.
- SEPA / SWIFT: 1–3 business days.
Operational considerations
- Cutoff times may shift settlements to the next business day.
- Compliance review may delay processing.
- Always listen to webhooks for authoritative status.
Best Practices
- Display an ETA range to users (not a guaranteed timestamp).
- Treat webhooks as the source of truth.
- Make webhook handlers idempotent.
