This documentation explains how to quickly start integrating the Cashela REST API, providing details for each module and including examples of requests and responses.

Cashela’s unified API enables you to:

  • Onboard customers across borders
  • Accept deposits through multiple local and international channels
  • Manage wallet balances
  • Send payouts securely and compliantly

Getting Started

  1. Register as a Business
    Create a Business Account to access the Cashela Business Dashboard.

  2. Create Sandbox Credentials
    In the dashboard, generate your Sandbox Business Key and Sandbox Business Secret.
    Optionally restrict access by IP allow-list.

  3. Integrate in Sandbox
    Use your sandbox credentials to build and test your integration.

    • Sandbox Base URL: https://sandbox.api.cashela.com/api/v1/
    • Verify webhooks, errors, pagination, and idempotency with test data.

  4. Pre-Production Review
    Submit your use case for review. Cashela will validate compliance documentation and confirm your technical checklist (webhook verification, retries, and reconciliation).

  5. Go Live
    After approval, generate Production credentials in the dashboard and switch your base URL.

    Accept customer payments worldwide through bank transfers, cards, digital wallets, vouchers, or cash-in locations. Fully integrated and compliant.

    Send funds to recipients globally via bank transfers, mobile wallets, or cash pickup locations.

  • Wallet (Coming Soon)
    Provide customers with secure digital wallets to store funds, manage balances, and convert between currencies in real time, with full compliance.

    Sell and distribute prepaid gift cards for both retail and digital use across supported regions.

    Allow users to pay utility bills, services, and taxes directly from their Cashela wallet or linked payment method.
